Adding a Teaching Assistant to Your Course

If you have a Teaching Assistant, you can give them access to your Moodle course to assist in grading or content management.

To add a Teaching Assistant:

1. At the top of your Moodle course, click Participants

2. Click on Enrol Users.

 

3. Under Assign Role, choose Advanced Teaching Assistant.

NOTE: A Basic Teaching Assistant has access for marking only. An Advanced Teaching Assistant has access for marking as well as updating content and creating/editing exams.

 

4. Under 'Select Users', in the search field, type in the name of the user you wish you enrol. 

5. Once these two options are filled out, you may click on the blue button at the bottom, called Enrol Selected Users and Cohorts.
